Chief Financial Officer – Future Group

Sanjay Jain, a gold medallist during graduation, has a Masters degree in Finance & Control and is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. He is a senior industry professional with around 22 years of experience mainly in leading Indian business houses like Eicher Group, Avantha, Zee Group and now Future Group.

At present, Sanjay Jain is working with Future Group as Group Chief Financial Officer.

Sanjay has been part of the core leadership team pursuing the transformation agenda at Future Group. He has been leading strategic initiatives covering a) Supporting Business Transformation through Finance b) Capital Structuring c) M&A.

Rs 3000 crs equity raise, Two notch Credit Rating Upgrade, Rs 3500 crs debenture raise for improving maturity and cost profile of existing debt, the recent Nilgirs, Bharti Retail and Kara acquisitions and institutionalizing a process of “Performance Measurement and Review” have been key accomplishments of Future Group under his leadership.

Sanjay was earlier Group CFO at Zee Group. As CFO of International Operations of Avantha Group, he has also had a stint in Belgium and spearheaded 6 cross border M & A.

He has keen interest in music. Sanjay travels a lot to explore the world around him. He is married to Miti, a homemaker and has two children Simran – 17 and Ashrey – 10.
